well i have been driving for quite sometime and i still
get nervous sometimes.there is a lot of cars on the road
these days.but listening to the radio will help.i make it
a point to always watch the other cars.because you never know what crazy move they will make.that has kept me out of trouble many times.you know you can do it you have to
put your mind to it.get in your car and drive don't worry so much.you will be fine.you can do it !

You may want to try hypnotherapy. Different methods work on different people of course.
It takes a while to get used to, took me five years of driving from A to B quiet roads before I attempted the motorway so you are not alone.
Take it slowly, at your own pace and if you feel anxious whilst driving, stop over and breath in/out deep 10 times before driving off again. Unfamiliar roads can be scary because you cannot predict what is ahead. Practice will make it easier.
Good luck x

Do some meditation and relaxation before you get in the car. Once in the car, play music, sing along, think about doing something you enjoy doing, like exercising, sunbathing, golfing, whatever.
I hope this helps. Good luck!
