writes:ok, so i've been friends with this girl for almost a year now, and at first, we got along really well to the point where i wanted to ask her out. I never did ask her out and i never asked her to prom even though i really wanted to. Now, i feel like she treats me really badly to the point where i don't know if i want to still be friends with her. The feeling between us, i feel, has gone from a very easy and comfortable feeling, to an awkward, uncomfortable feeling. It's a hard decision though because she is like no one i have ever met. We share the same interests and she's beautiful, smart, kind and over all she's just fun to be around. I feel that I deserve better, but despite the way she treats me, I don't want to lose her.  There is clearly a reason in which she would act this way towards you maybe you did something that upset her you are unaware of... If she means that much to her then try talking to her and telling her the way you feel and try to find out what is wrong on her end. If she was always kind you may have acted in a manner that hurt her.. Maybe she really wanted you to ask her to prom?

Well remember that she doesn't know you feel this way but because you really like her maybe you just became a push over and she realised she could take advantage, don't know, just my take
