My husband is 13 years older than me and I guess he kind of makes me feel old too. I am 21 but I already feel old and out of style. When we go into clubs all the other girls look me up and down like I am not wearing the right clothes or something. I look at magazines and shop at Mcraes for the latest styles, but I am just not feeling it. I really don't like the long shirts teens are wearing now that look like short dresses over their jeans. They just look like maternity clothes to me and I just got through with those. How can I be stylish for every age group?

You can't. Be stylish for yourself. That starts with being okay with who you are and where your life is at. In a backward sorta way I feel your pain. I am always the oldest Mom at the birthdays by at least 10 years or more. I dress differently because I am different. Do what's right for you, and your family (I gather it is a new family). Style and beauty comes from the inside, not the department store!!!!

Rainee agony auntThe only way to feel stylish for every age group lies not in what you wear, but how you act. Be at peace with yourself, have fun, and don't be afraid to talk to people. Unless the function calls for formal gowns, wear whatever is comfortable for your /own/ style. When people see how wonderful you are for yourself, they won't care how you look (unless you're naked).

I do not think that anything in the entire planet is worth you worrying about. I have seen age differences work both ways and, guess what, he may feel a bit unsure too, not because he is older than you, but perhaps is picking up on how you feel about YOUR TOGETHER situation.

As for clothes, he obviously fell for you as you are, and if you are not looking for someone younger, why change? No one is perfect but you are obviously to him. Just make him feel that way and nothing will tear you apart, no matter what you wear. Ask him if you wish; however, I bet you are the one that he wants. Wish you well, hope you best have no more worry. Luv, jay.
