reader, anonymous, writes (28 March 2007): You are quite young to be worrying about this kind of stuff. Just go out and enjoy having fun and having a laugh. If she wants to be close to him, then let her. You don't want to get into a relationship at your age. Just be cool and let them be friends etc. You can all be friends, surely.

 I don't think she means it. Ask her up front if she fancies him and if she does and it upsets you then ask yourself why your so bothered? do you fancy him? just tell her how you feel. That you feel she is pushing you away and would like to be included in the conversations you guys have. If she is nasty about it then you know what you have to do. all the best x x x
