I feel like the relationship door is closed

Question - (7 June 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 7 June 2011)
A female Mexico age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I'm afraid that I am never going to be happy! I would like to share my life but I know in my heart what I'm searching for and I'm afraid that the doors are closed.

I'm 32 years old, and an American woman who identifies with Latin culture and thinks Latino guys are amazing. There's nothing wrong with American white guys but I know that I'm just not attracted to them!! I've lived in Mexico and Spain and identify more with those cultures and I am super attracted to Mexican guys... but I worry that the door is closed. People have told me to give other nationalities a try but I know I'm not attracted to others... there is a cultural difference and I just don't feel chemistry for non-Mexican guys.

Should I just give up on love? :´(

SillyB agony auntNo....

But you should be more open to it. We all have preferences, but you are really making it difficult for yourself.

Date everyone, you'll fall in love with whoever you have most chemistry with. Stop judging men based on their ethnicity. You're only hurting your chances.
