When we start to mess around in bed I get aroused, but then just as he is about to enter me I feel like I am gonna wet myself. Im scared this will happen so then just find a way around his advances. Just wanted to know is this normal? Do I need to worry about this? Or should I just get on with sex? Help!!!! Reply to this Question Share |

i used to have this prob when i first started out, and sometimes it did happen , i realised soon enough that i wasnt concentrating on me and what i like and feel while having sex and therefore not getting turned on enough, i think like wilywombat said this probably made the muscles looser down below, practise squeezing the muscles, its happened to me once since having my babies and that was in a sitting upright position and none others so maybe changing your position, maybe keep your legs more tense and close together as aposed to wrapped around your partner, but i do want to say my husband wasnt bothered by it at all, in fact now its all he can talk about ;)

Yes this can be normal. And no, chances are you are not going to wet yourself. This is just a feeling that can happen when you get very aroused. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it is by no means rare and you will probably get a few people on here saying this happens to them!
The control mechanism for urinating is very strong (both physically and psychologically) and you are highly unlikely to *wee* whilst have intercourse or when you reach climax. Admittedly it can happen, but the women who sometimes do leak (and I mean a little amount) have usually had babies, or their pelvic floor muscles are not as strong as they should be.
The trouble is this is knocking your confidence because this is such a new feeling for you. I would suggest trying some pelvic floor exercises. Dont be scared of enjoying yourself with your sexual partner, as they say Practice Makes Perfect. And the more you practice the more used to this feeling you will get, and then you will realise it has been nothing to worry about.
Dont run away from it. This shouldn't be allowed to become a huge problem for you.
Good luck and stay safe.xxx
