Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.-Anonymous-
You may not understand why you have to go through all those frustrations and disappointments in life.
Eventually all the pieces will fall into place, until then... laugh at the confusion, live for the moment and know that everything happens for a reason.
Think more positive for there is a silver lining in those black clouds.
Nothing is ever permanent in this life. There is a time for every thing. A time to be sad , a time to be happy...
Think of it like the wheel of fortune. It keeps turning , up, down and up again.
Do not focus on the problems but focus on the solutions. Focus on God and your priorities in life.
Your perceptions of life will change.
You only live once and enjoy each day as it comes.

Hey hun. I'm sorry you're going through this. I have been through severe depression before for 4 months, and have had many other periods of depression so I know you must feel. I know also that everybody will experience the thoughts that you are having, even people who are generally upbeat. Sometimes constant disappointments in life just get on top of us and things seem hopeless and pointless. But I know that when you come out the end of a depression you will be so grateful you made it through, because there are so many good things in life that you can experience, that outweight the bad times. Its just a matter of keeping going. Little steps. Try to do things that make you happy. Spend time with people you love. Get a little exercise, this releases seratonin the mood booster. If you ever feel like you can't go on call the mental health services in your area or visit your gp. Don't suffer alone, there is help out there. Also although they may be helpful, dont automatically jump onto antidepressants. These only reduce the symptoms and can be impossible to get off, becasue when you get off them you feel just as bad as before. Try to find out why you feel like this. Complementary and talking therapies are the best, if these are available to you. Even talking to a good friend will help.Hope this helps :)

trust me their isnt really a single person who has had this thought some have lead to death the sad reality. no one can make you happy but you know one can make the right descion in life but you life is full of lessons to learn and you wont be the first to go through them so find some comfort in that. we are all begininers from start to finish, but we all like to hope we come out with something at the end! their are many things in this world that could possibly put you into depression if you open your eyes to the REAL reality of life you will see hell but you have to find the good bits the heavenly if you will/ your only dissapointed is because you had hope for something and those hopes are gone or you have been constantly let down. you have obviously made bad judgements dont let it get you down just move yourself forward and try and make better judgements life can be as good as you make it. i learnt this recently you can hit rock bottom! but dont let if get that far its hard but move forward to something else or aim for a goal that you want just be realistic and make sure that you make the right descions if you dont then you pick yourself back up and go onto the next adventure. life is one big rollercoaster but you can control were it goes. so come hun pick yourself up were all here in the same boat with you! good luck aphex

Hey there, guess this isn't so much an answer but more of me understanding how you feel.
I'm going through the same thing, sick of everything going wrong and wonder what the point of it is. Even my boyfriend, who I love dearly seems to be slipping away from me.
Wish I could tell you something that would make it better but I guess we just have to battle on in the hope that this is only temporary. That something else, something better is out there.
Sorry I couldn't be more help
