A reader, anonymous, writes (8 May 2010):

I would worry too because your key words are she is spending more time with your BF then with you. That is saying a lot and where there is smoke there is fire so ask yourself. How much more time is she spending with the friend then you. If she is constantly choosing the friend over you then you know where her priorities are and it isn't you.

rainbowmaker agony auntSpeak to your girlfriend. Tell her it makes you feel uncomfortable when you are all together and she seems to be having more fun with your mate. I dont think its lack of trust i just think that It doesnt make you feel so great when she leaves you out in favour of him. Nothing wrong with that.

If she's a decent girl then she will take what your saying into account and try to involve you more. If not then it looks like you might just have to find someone else who does care about your feelings.

Laura1318 agony auntSometimes being together for a long time can be boring and she needs a little excitements and fun. You need to have trust in her and that you are her b/f at the end of the day.

beccababes agony auntdont worry, this happened with me, just remember that she likes you, not your best friend. She probrably wants to feel like she fits in with your friends and instead of feeling left out you could join in, just talk a bit more in the convisations they have and you could maybe hug her or something to show your affection when your with her and your friends so she knows you really like her.
