I feel aroused by reading about others sexual issues

Question - (21 February 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 21 February 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

This is my first question and I really enjoy this site. I read it every day and pretend that I have some other problems others have. I have never been kissed or held and my folks told me very little about sex. In reading about those who are anticipating first sex and those questions regarding sex I sometimes feel aroused a bit and feel a wetness in my clothes. Is this unusual? If nobody around I sometimes touch myself and it gives me more pleasure than I get if I am not reading here. Will this make me too much stimulated when the right time comes and I have a boyfriend? Would this make me give in too easily??

A male reader, Tomas United States +, writes (21 February 2009):

Perfectly normal, nothing wrong with you. All 6 billion other people on earth go through the same thing.

As far as sexual feelings go, it is almost always better to touch yourself rather than get into a bad relationship just to get someone else to touch you. Take time to get to know yourself, and don't rush in to anything.

You see from the questions here how much trouble that can lead to!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (21 February 2009):

You are completely normal. So long as it isn't harming anyone, what turns you on is your own business. And no, you can't desensitize yourself or be "too aroused" later on because of this. You are a teenager and you'll never feel more horny than you do in these few years, trust me :) Enjoy it. You are healthy and have nothing to be worried about.
