Why not buy some type of candy liquId. I had nipple candy for me and my (ex) girlfriend. I usd it togo down on her until I got used to her natural taste. So maybe you can buy some (its made specifically for sex and easy to find) and stroke some of thaton his penis before going downon him.  My guess is that more than the claim of "wetness" (since a mouth is much wetter and capable of producing fluid on command) he enjoys the thought of you tasting yourself. This seems to be a pretty common turn on.
You can easily wipe him off and then build up a lot of saliva to replace the wetness, that would be a lot more lubrication there than your own. You can also get flavored/edible lubes, or put different kinds of good tasting stuff there like chocolate syrup to mask the taste (so long as you're not planning to have vaginal sex again, that's an infection waiting to happen). I'm sure he'd rather have you love giving head without tasting yourself than to dislike doing it while tasting it.
