A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *en345 writes:

I am 18 years old and bisexual, even if not completely 50 / 50. A few people know, and the truth is bound to have spread a little. I don't want to be attention seeking and make a big deal of it, but then again, hate hiding it. Will male friends and acquaintances find it weird or off putting knowing I'm bi?

I think that you should just tell them, because hiding things from friends is worse than you telling them the truth. Honestly, you know who your real friends are whenever you tell them something about you, yeah some might not like the fact that you are bisexual but the ones that stick by you will be there no matter what. Even if you lose some friends because your bi, you should understand that you are still happy with your life being bi. Whenever you lose some friends there will always be people who want to be your friend and accept you for who you are and not what your preferences in men and women are.

The Realist agony auntI think people who don't know you very well will be a little awkward with this. It is not something you should have to hide at all but I do think it is something that those people do not need to know right away.
