The man in question being handsome seems to be about you a trying to prove to yourself that you too are beautiful if you can "land" him.
Don't play those kind of games with yourself because you will always lose in the end. Some of the most physically handsome people can be some of the ugliest and if this guy can't love you for the color of your skin then he is pretty ugly in my estimation.
Like everyone has said here, you need to work on loving yourself a whole lot more before you will attract a nice guy to you, and look a little deeper than his skin or physical beauty.

OR
you could just be your beautiful self.... if he don't like you because of what you are then how can he love you for who you are? MOre importantly you must love your self and everything about you before anyone can love you.
