My boyfriend has a hard time opening up to me... how do I approach this subject with him?

Question - (9 August 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 9 August 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

So I have been seeing this guy for a couple of months now. I like him and he seems to really like me but a few things concern me. He is very quiet and seems to have trouble opening up. I have tried to get him to open up but he doesn't say much. I have a hard time trusting people so it makes me feel that he just isn't that into me.

I want to talk to him about it but am not sure how to approach it. Any Suggestions?

What do you need him to open up about?

Just ask him questions about that issue.
