I have this boyfriend, and he likes me a lot, or so he says, and I don't feel the same spark as I did when I first started dating him. We have gone out to the movies recently, and we do hang out a lot, but I just don't like him anymore, and I would hate to hurt his feelings. Please help me out! How do I break up with this guy? I would think it would be best to do something along the lines of, 'I don't think this is going to work out, but we can still be friends.' Is there any other way to say it? Please help, and thank you for taking some of your precious time to read this.Sincerely,Soon to be Single

Hey,
I think it's just a case of you needing to let him down really gently. I'm still good friends with my ex's and have never had a bad break up.
As you socialise with him and still like him as a friend, I'd try and break up in the most positive way possible. Just say that over the last few weeks you've realised that you don't want to be involved romantically but you still really value the friendship together and you'd love it if you could stay friends. Also, bare in mind that he isn't going to be expecting it, so try and be as soft as possible with breaking it to him.
I hope this helps :)
