We don't get to see alot off each other as she works during the day and i work during the night. A few days ago i promised to pick her up from work today so we could spend some time together. I work as a Bouncer and last night i was involved in breaking up a massive fight involving around fifteen people. In the process off breaking up this fight and calming down the situation i injured my right shoulder. I don't feel the shoulder is seperated but i feel the muscles and tendons have been pulled as it hurts really bad when i breath in and out. I left work early and came home as i was in alot off pain. I left my girlfriend a message explaining to her what happened and that i wouldn't be able to pick her up from work or see her this evening. All i wanted to do was sleep and relax as i couldn't get much rest from the pain. I made am appointment to see my doctor tomorrow hoping he will give me something for the pain. But my girlfriend went completlely mad. And accused me off not meeting her needs and that i'm not the man for her. And now she has dumped me telling me that i've let her down and that she will find someone who will fulfil her needs more than i have. I'm really confused. All i did wrong was not meet her from work because off what happened to me at my work. I feel so hurt and confused. I keep thinking that maybe i should have made more off am effort to meet her today but right now i'm in so much pain that i don't want to leave the house or see anyone. Please help as i don't know what wrong i have done

I see two possibilities:
One, this is something building up over time and this is the "straw that broke the camels back". Maybe you had earlier fights (you didn't say), or it's something she kept inside.
The other possibility is that she's more than a bit unstable.
Really... both partners have "needs". In this case you were actually injured.
