However I have never been in a relationship with a girl mainly due to my shy and introverted nature, moreover I always was of the belief that I should first try to establish myself financially, and that matters of heart could wait. I was wrong. Ever since my mother's and yonger brothers death, two people I was closest to, I've been lonely and this loneliness is killing me with every passing day. After eons of years I met a girl and even though it was not an instant attraction, gradally I started developing feeling for her. We are no friends yet, she happens to work at a place which I visit often for some work, and we only exchange greetings. I admit I dont know much about her, but would like to know her better. The problem is , she is from a different community and I sense there cannot be a future to this. Inspite of all this, I really want to tell her about my feelings for her. I just want to express myself, as I dont want to live with the regret of not attempting as I've had many missed chances in the past. If she turns me down, I will totally accept it but atleast the guilt wont be there that I never took a chance. And if she agrees, I am ready to take on any challenges that may arise in the future.Pls advice.Thks/Husain

You could write her a note or a letter and tell her you're shy and thought it would be the best way to approach - say something about the lost art of letter writing and that you think it's a shame... if she writes back or smiles when she sees you next, ask her to go for a coffee...
good luck, let us know!
