What is the right thing to do if you're falling in love with your close friend which is also a girl and you can't still accept the fact that you're in love with her? Is it right to just avoid her? Is it necessary to tell her your feelings towards her?

A male reader, guy1989 Canada +, writes (14 July 2011):

Well first of all if she is a lesbian it might be easier. If she is heterosexual it might be challenging. You have to investigate the situation here. How is she around you ? does she show any affection toward you ? I think it's important, if she is indeed your best friend..it might not come as a shock to her that u have feelings for her..it all depends on her.
