A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

hey. I need help. Its my birthday tomorrow and I have liked this boy for about 2 years now. I was ill today and my friend told me that the boy had been asking about me. Recently people have told me he likes me but I asked him out a year ago and he said no. Now i dont have the confidence to tell him I like him. He flirts with all the girls and has said he doesnt fancy anyone in front of me. People have said he wont say no on my birthday but will he?

Shall I go for it..? He danced and really flirted with me at my party. I have never felt like this about a boy before please help me.

love-struckxo agony auntYou have to ask yourself if your feelings are worth it. He could say yes, and he could say no, how would any of us know?

You can either risk getting hurt, or you could end up having a great relationship, and getting married. (not likely but you know what i mean)

Don't use your birthday as an excuse. I think you should ask him out the day after your birthday, just incase he says yes, you don't want him to just say yes, cause it's your birthday and he would feel guilty..

If he really likes you, he will say yes, on your birthday, or a week from now.

I say, hey what the heck, we're still young! Most guys will break our heart in the end, but it only makes us stronger.

xx
