Maybe suggest that she alternates between using her hand and her mouth, repeatedly.

 Well, from a girl's point of view, I'd say she can experiment with different techniques- giving head isn't just "up-down" - there are subtle nuances. She can try a menthol candy (just don't use too much- apparently that can feel a little funny!) or frozen melon balls, or drinking something hot before hand - the temperature differences can feel quite good, I've heard.
