writes:I'm so confused. After 4 years of staying true to one person it seems pointless. I have been in love with one person for the past four years and I just recently told him. He said I kinda like you and I have thought about you a lot. I do feel something there, but I don't know right now. Here is where the plot thickens, he just broke up with my best friend. She went out with him despite me telling her I loved him. I begged her not to and even cried many times over it, but it was no use. She wouldn't listen to me and she went out with him for five months. He said he loved her. This guy also happens to be my closest guy friend. He told me she was his one and only, he said there could and would be no one else. Of course it hurt me to hear this, but because I love him I wanted him to be happy. Therefore, I tried to stay away for a while and just exclude myself and leave his life. That backfired, he said he missed me. He said he needed me and that I was the only one he could talk to you. We started fighting then the next thing I knew. She broke his heart she told him it was over.He immediately acted rash. He stared staying out until 3 am and laying in front of cars. I had avoided him for 2 months, but I knew I had to talk to him. I loved him and would never stop. I talk to him and he acted dead like a part of him was gone. He closed me off. He didn't want to talk. So, I tried to forget him. I went off into my summer and met someone else. This someone said they liked me but instead went out with Lexi, my sister. I found myself loving David, my old love even more. In a spur of the moment thing, I told David he said he would "hang out with me" What does this mean? he thought it was going to be he and I only?Does that mean he likes me?

i understand how you feel a guy choosing someone else over you etc.. yea its very hurtful. but i just guess that means since he knows how you feel about him he will give you a chance like get to know you more spend more time with you.
