I don't know how I got into this state of mind. I do ask questions to make people talk about themselves and listen more than talk, but still I feel like I have no personality since I never am able to form an opinion in my mind. It's like something has been shut off in my mind for years. And, recently at work, this girl and I expressed our love for each other, but it's been 1 month and I just stopped talking to her because I know I can't have a conversation with her and keep her satisfied.I've felt depressed about this for years, I can't make new real friends or love partners. I have a cell phone and noone ever calls me, unless I call them and try to have a conversation, but once again I just become silent. Anything I can read (not Dale Carnegie) or any advice you guys can give me?

Have you been to see a doctor lately? Maybe you need to talk to a professional about how you've been feeling, especially as you say that you have been feeling depressed for years. You should get a full check up with your doctor, and speak to him/her about your concerns. Don't leave this to go on any more. Good luck.

Hi,
Sounds to me like you may have a "social anxiety disorder".
I would google it and decide for yourself.
If you do there are ways to overcome it, which also, you can google.
Hope I helped :)
