Question - (14 October 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 14 October 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and i have always had trust issues but we have seen we cannot live without each other,he had a gf while we broke up 2 months ago after being together for 13 months. I never ever expected him to get a gf,but he did and thought i wouldn't find out after until i found out myself and he said it was a mistake. He said he didn't use the word "love" with her...but i find out he did. I never thought he could lie to me like that. Could it be he just really saw that relationship as nothing?Because i've heard that some guys do that because they still have feelings for ex and he says i was pushing him away by not trusting him. Now the problem is i can't get over the fact he did that, just imagining his lips and arms on somebody else haunts me,how do i get over it and just be happy with him?

sunnycomet agony auntYou don't have to forgive him right away. Give it time and take it slow.

He is going to have to earn your trust back. If this seems impossible then you should reconsider your relationship with him.

Good Luck!
