rockc agony auntI don't think the fact that you are dry necessarily has everything to do with the relationship... every body is different. I'm a little dry myself most of the time (unless I've already orgasmed), and I used to think it was because I was on the pill, but I've been off for nearly a year now and I'm still the same way. Sex that lasts a long time can often just use up all your wetness through friction and such... lube does work really, really well, and a good one (I like wet brand lube) will stay with you throughout the whole thing.

Also, with every body being different, it's understandable that you might not orgasm through vaginal intercourse alone. I need clitoral stimulation... I've never cum without it. So you just have to find what works best for you...

I have that problem too. It is partly due to being on the depo. However my biggest problem is my relationship. If you are having any problems outside the bedroom it will cause problems inside the bedroom.

Try using lube and if you are having problems in the relationship try working them out before having sex.

A female reader, :):):) United Kingdom +, writes (4 September 2008):

Usually vaginal dryness is because you arent aroused enough. Make sure you and your partner spend alot of time on foreplay before hand and tell him what you like. Maybe use a lubricant occasionally.

If this doesn't work, then the cause if probably physical. Things such as hormone levels can affect how dry you are and also what type of contracpetives you on can cause changes. See a doctor, they will be used to this question and will be happy to help you out xxx
