on the other hand i called him today and let it ring a couple minutes then I hung up.. his number called me back I thought it was him and it was a girl so I just freaked out and hung up..

Ask him. No one else knows what it could be. It could have been a friend, though it is a long shot. Truth is he very well might be playing you. But I think the best thing to do is ask.

Sincerely Yours agony auntThere are only two reasons that come to mind that a girl would call you back. And those would be that 1. you called the wrong number, or 2. He is in a relationship with someone else as well, who doesn't know that there's another woman. If he is cheating on you, then it seems to me the girl would try to stay out of the way of you so that you don't know she's there.

Yikes.

Of course I don't know what's going on, but talking to her instead of hanging up would have been an excellent way to figure out what's going on.

I'd call back if I were you.

That is awkward . . . I don't know what to say. No one picks up my cell phone unless it is my mom and my brother picks up or something to that effect. But when it comes to a significant other, why would any one else pick up, or worse, return a call using someone's mobile phone?

It is good that you are not freaking out too much. You can speculate all you want, but you won't know unless you ask. Even then, you might not know exactly why. But at the very least, you should call him up and talk about it and take it from there.
