I can't find one anywhere, that dosnt have an orange tint. i dont want to look gothicy i just want a nice pale foundation for my face so it looks porcelain and smooth.I have very low self esteem and when i put on my make up i feel a bit better... but the lack of a nice foundation makes me look really old i think. I am only 17 but people think im 24 sometimes. i don't like this, its my fetures but also now being able to find the right makeup i think.My boyfriend used to go out with a few stunning girls, and even though we are together a year and a half i get very paranoied when he looks at girls, and even comments on how nice their make up is. I want to look porcelain!! somebody please let me know what to do! xive tried ivory, and ive tried nude foundation, now i use maxfactor 100 fait but it still has an orange tint.

Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud is your new best friend. She had the same problem - could NOT find a foundation light enough for her ivory skin. So she has brought out her own range and it is massive. You'll definitely find the perfect colour in there. Its called Dainty Doll and is distributed by a company called jellypongpong. their website is jellypongpong.com if you click on locations it will tell you where you can buy it.

Hiya, Well I'm quite pale also; and i'm so glad summer is arriving so that I can get a lovely tan! But anyway... 2 foundations which are good are; Maybelline dream matte mouuse It comes in pale shades too and doesn't have an orangey tint to it, however I stopped using this product because it dryed out my skin (but it's perfect if you're oily) My current one is Maxfactor Colour adapt, I think there is a poreceline shade! It's a really good foundation :)
Hope i've helped xxx

The best thing I have found is Boots Naturals in one of the porcelain shades. They are hypoalergenic and really nice, jsut put a little moisturiser on first and they last all day!

Why don't you go into a chemist or high street store and they will give you advice on what is suitable for your skin type. I did that a while ago and even tho I am still using the same brand but just the wrong color and the difference it made when the girl in the store put some on me was stunning!!
Wear tinted moisturiser during the day and only wear foundation when you are going out - it makes some difference to your skin. Don't be afraid to go into the stores and ask - thats what those girls are there for.
Best of luck with it anyway

Mandy's right....natural is best, but if you feel more comfortable then try the 'Dream Matte Mousse' it leaves your skin so smooth, and it's not like some polyfillas that are on the market. Try out the sample shades.
I use that one and it's great stuff and doesn't look fake.
'Maybe it's Maybelline' {Bet you just sang that}

If you could improve your self esteem you may not feel the need to think about makeup so much. There are books about self-esteem, also courses and no doubt stuff on the Internet. Maybe you could also start by getting people to tell you your good points.
