Keep a diary it may help some. If it comes and goes I wouldnt be concerned too much. Things happen here and there in life that are gonna put you down but you just got get back up after it.
I was 13 when I hit major depression b/c of a back brace I had to wear in 8th grade. I never received clinical help bc my mom knew that once the brace was gone i should recover. I stopped my crying every night in 9th grade when i was gone but I still felt outcasted. In 10th grade I turned my life around whic in the long run has done me well. I started a new activity that im very good at and enjoy. I work and also have a group of friends at my church.
Sleep well clear your mind take a new look on life. If you are still very concerned bring it up the next time you see your doctor. Even meditation can help you just wash everything away. I was never fond of it but ive learned at times just to even close my eyes and take deep breaths helps me calm down.
Best of wishes

I have had depression on and off since I was 10, and believe me it isn't fun. But depression is not the same as anxiety. Depression takes over your life, and can be extremely stressful. Anxiety is more short-term, worrying about something specific which may or may not be overcome. My advice is simply to talk. Talk to your parents, talk to a friend, talk to a teacher. Talk to anyone who will listen, and you will find that your worries will be resolved. Maybe not straight away, but they will! Don't make the mistakes I did by suffering alone. If you think your worries are silly then you may feel uncomfortable by talking about them, but if they are real feelings to you then they aren't silly: they are important! Take very good care, and I hope you feel better soon :)

Spontanaity can be the key to happiness, clear your mind, get plenty of sleep, don't worry about everything especially minor things about being excited about christmas - it's nothing. And if you feel that you are, it's not a tragedy, nothing to worry about kitten.x

Cater to your inner-child. Do the things you used to to as a kid. This has helped me when I was feeling really bad. I rode my bike, blew bubbles, played with clay, and got out my art kit and played with that. I also played with an instrument of mine that I hadn't played with in a while. You are never to old to try to make yourself feel like a kid again.
