He swears me and calls me names all the time for nothing and tells me how worthless etc I am. How do I leave him with a good and valid reason? My family like him but he is psycho and I did try to leave him but my parents and everyone else just thought I was being ridiculous because he acts so wonderful in front of everyone and they believe him, and he lies so damn convincingly. How do I leave him??

Thats exactly right, if its this bad now, its only going to get worse once you marry him. Get out now! I would think that if you sit down with your family and explain the situation, they will understand. But even if they don't, it doesn't matter. All that matters is your safety and well-being. And seriously, later on in your life when you find yourself in a healthy relationship, you're going to be so amazed at how good love can really be :o)
