I really like him now and I stupidly told him that I love him. He said it's a bit too soon to say that sort of thing. Now I feel embarrassed and a little bit hurt. However he did say that he likes me more than he has anyone else before. How shall I act with him now? I'm not sure if he likes me as much as I do him. Reply to this Question Share |

Just carry on as normal, boys are very scared of that phrase as it carries so much meaning, we tend to think it's an overused phrase that is very powerful and said at the wrong time or too often it looses meaning.
Boys don't handle emotional stuff well, I'm sure he feels the same way as you do but doesn't considerate it to be love because if you are his first "love" he won't know what to expect, so give him time.
If he cares for you and likes you a lot, that is very close to saying "I love you" in a boys mind it's pretty much the same thing.
