At the end of the day age is only a number, how a couple feel about one another far supersedes how many years are between them. There is only 4 years between you and he above the legal age of cencent. If you like him then go for it, and stop worrying what everyone is going to think, do, or say, all that really matters is what you think. In a few years time when he is 21 and you are 25 the age gap won't even be noticable.
Good luck x

You can only but follow your heart. A friend of mine is actually 22 and she is dating a boy of 17. She went out with him when he was 14, dated for about 2 years and they broke up because he became possessive. It showed he still had alot of growing up to do but a year later they got back together and they are happier because he learned he cant stop her from having male friends.
I say if he acts mature enough and is willing to be serious then dont let the age chase you away. When he turns 20 No one will care.
