It all depends on whether you were attracted to older men BEFORE your father's death or not? If you cannot recall, then there is a chance of you trying to fill that void. If not, it's perfectly normal. Someone stable and focused on their future is always a good person to look to for a relationship--whether it be a romantic or a friendly relationship. I mean, it IS hard to find that in our age group, so it's easier to have meaningful conversations with those older than us, and of course, most people elder to us are usually comfortable and not intimidated by those younger than them.
So don't worry too much about it unless it eats at you too much. c:

If you are around 18 how is a 28 year old guy going to remind you of your father who was probably in the 40s to 50s in age. Sorry about your loss though. With the older guy situation I think you might be attracted to the maturity that you are not seeing in guys your own age.

Nothing's wrong with you at all. Lots of women fancy older men, just as there are some men that fancy older women. It could be that you want the attention of an older male because you miss the attention of your Dad and you're looking for a kind of father figure. If you are worried, then maybe see a counsellor to help you understand yourself a bit more. But there's nothing wrong with you, so please don't think that.
