As far as I know this isn't normal or common so I'll advise you to go to the doctor sooner rather than later. Many things are easily treated when they are picked up early but cause all sorts of problems if left too long.
Get you to a doctor.....

reader, anonymous, writes (15 December 2009): Best thing to do is go to your doctor. Blood is a sign that there is a problem. It might just be something as simple as an infection that'll be easily cleared up with some antibiotics or a small tear causing the bleeding or it could be more serious. Only one way to know. Leaving it will make it worse so go straight away and it'll be easier and quicker to get sorted.
They'll have seen and heard it all before so please don't worry.
