Im a guy, in the same age group and i have the same problems (She isnt my girlfriend tho and we havent gone out), but if he really likes you, than i think he is struggling with the same thing, just try to start the conversation with himTheres tons of things to talk about, just remember what he likes and its also nice to find out what he dislikes

I was there myself not that long ago (well OK about 10 years ago now).
I guess it's helpful just trying to think of them as just any other person. If you don't have brothers it's harder to adjust to this relationship because you're not used to boys being around.
I'd just be yourself. Be confident, and say intelligent things, not bimbo things. Be relaxed if you can. Even if it takes a while you'll get there eventually. Maybe do some things with him and your friends to help you loosen up a little.
You're shy just because you like him. It's normal.
And 10 years later you will be confident and normal - it's only in the early years.
I'm not old by the way, just late 20s.
