reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2009): If I feel upset by life's unfairness, I find it helps me to tell myself 'life isn't fair', let the hurt go and move on. That's really all you can do. If you hang on to those feelings of hurt and self pity, you're the one that looses the most. Try to stay away from unpleasant people if you can and enjoy the good things in your life. Be thankful for what you're happy about. A grateful attitude will make you feel happier and give you a better outlook in life.
It doesn't really matter if nasty people get payback. It matters that you can feel better.

 Your problem is quite generalized, probably you should be comprehensive of how bullies win and in what way.
Is this a geo-political statement or is this a female bully case or a male bully case? I am at a lost here.
