There's a really cute girl in my Chemistry course and I see her around often.Today though, I saw her at the library and talked to her for the first time - she came to the library to do her homework. I asked her if she was taking my course, and I said I recognized her. I also said she could ask me for help if she needed it, but I didn't introduce myself to her. She stayed there for a few hours with her friend and didn't talk to me again. When she left, she didn't say bye or anything.Did I do the right thing? What should I do the next time I see her? Hi,
Thanks for your follow up. I think that's all you can do really. You did everything right. You said hello, and explained you were on the same course but she just didnt seem to want to further things. Maybe she was shy or nervous. Also, when girls are with their friends they tend to be in their own worlds. So, I would leave things now and see if she says hello or asnything when you next see each other. Apart from that, there is nothing else you can do. But there are other girls around too............. Good luck.

You explained you were on her course, offered help etc. She didn't seem to want to further this. She left without acknowledgement. I wouldn't bother if I were you. You did nothing wrong. Don't bother, the least she could have done was say thanks. Just rudeness.
