Any break up is hard. The deeper the love the harder it is. I know that men sometimes seem calmer and stronger than us but trust me breakups affect everyone involved .

I don't think you guys hate eachother. It seems as though all you guys need is a break for a while. There's really nothing you can do except try to calm down and accept everything that is to come. Who knows maybe it's time for a change for you too. Maybe you'll find somkeone worth having.

if he wants to split up there's nothing you can do except respecting his decision and moving on. pamper yourself, put some distance between the two of you and try to put this behind you. it will be very difficult at first but you shouldn't try to change his mind about separating (if he stated that he wants that).
