If you ask a good question - something that can be answered in a paragraph or two - you should receive help quite soon. Other questions are more complicated, and some of us may think about them for a while - maybe even a week or more - before offering an answer. Some questions are, well, not very well thought out - or they have obvious, and well thought-out, answers from other sources.
It's always a good idea to check back on your thread for a few days, even after you have an answer.
And - it's only polite to thank the people who have tried to help you, even if they weren't as helpful as you'd like.

 This site is very helpful, in my opinion. I know I have left words with people that have really given them a lot of help and bearing. I have even asked questions here myself and the answers I receive are typically very helpful.Keep in mind you can post anonymously, if you'd like. As such, you can ask pretty much anything without worry of being identified by anyone. Try us... ask something, I'm sure someone will have some words of wisdom to share with you :D

In general good questions will get at lest one answer within an hour. The aunts and uncles who answer are compleatly voluntary. They answer the questions that interest them, whenever they happen to be online. Personally I haven't answered a post all weekend. I generally won't answer anything that is more than 3 hours old. Unless I really want to. You may notice that some questions never get answered or go several days without answer. This is really an exception. Either the question is hard to understand or suspicious or none of the aunts online at the time take an interest in it and it gets too far down on the page. The important thing is to remember that no one is obligated to answer any question so be thankful to those who do take an interest.
