writes:Hi,I just met a guy through a friend, and we talked for a bit then in the end he asked for my number. He texted me the day next. We chatted. Then I texted him 2 days after. We chatted. That was yesterday. The question:I'm wondering how long I should wait for his text? If he never sent me a text, does it mean it's over, or should I try again and send him a text--if so, how long should I wait? What if he decides not to text me to test if I'll text him and if I don't text him, he might conclude that I'm not interested in him! I am interested in getting to know him. I know there's no definite or correct answer to this, but I just wanna know your opinions :)Thanks!

Try not too stress too much if he doesnt text right away. Remember that he may have things going on and checking his phone for a text or responding right away will not be foremost on his mind, even if he does like you a lot. Other things of higher importance may come first.
If you're worried that texting him 'too soon' might be a turn off for him, send him a text saying something like "I want to talk to you, and get to know you, so I'm ignoring those silly so-called rules about when to text a guy you like."

 I would say give him a couple of days but that also depends on who texted who first last. If it was you then three or four days would be a good wait. He probably doesn't want to creep you out by texting you all the time. Also she how long it take him to ask you out because that is another dead give away if he likes you or not. I'd give him two weeks for that one. Start a converstion with him and then wait for him to start the next one. If he takes so long then he probably isn't interested in you and will only ever text you when he has nothing else to do.
