My son is turning 1 on July 6 th , his birthday party is going to be thrown on July 11th due to the 4th of july weekend. My question is for all the mommies out there , what do you think would be a proper amount to spend on a 1st birthday? i just have no idea, i want to go all out but what would be resonable? Don't spend much at all. I'd say $100-$150 tops on food and liquor for the adults :)
Just make sure you get some cute pictures with him and some cake so the experience is something he can look back on.

There is no answer to this. Everyones situation is different. What can you afford? Are you referring to a party or a gift. At this age he will be none the wiser and will get just as much pleasure playing with a cardboard box as a £100 car.
Its the thought and the love you gove him. Take lots of pictures so that in years to come you can share that. they will be priceless.
LOL
