writes: I was wondering how much money to give to a friend/colleague for her wedding. I have known her for nearly 2 years and have been invited to her wedding for the whole day.She struggles with money and said she prefers cash to vouchers which im happy to give but dont know how much!Help!

you should totally go with £60it could help her in these hard times.and to me if doesnt matter how much money you give herwhat matters is you are their with her to share the most beautiful time in her life.

It depends on how much you can afford really, but £50 would seem pretty reasonable to me! You havent known her that long so you dont need to go OTT, and with £50 you can get some nice things so I think that would be ok!

This is tough because i can see it must be hard not to be cheep but not to be insulting either. Think about what you may have got her as a wedding gift and maybe give her that amount of money or ask her friends you must no someone else who is going maybe you could ask them. Good luck x
