Question - (17 July 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 17 July 2007)
A female United States age 36-40, *hazzzx11189 writes:

I was with my ex-boyfriend for 2 1/2 years. We broke up three weeks ago. When we broke up he said he didn't have the same feelings for me that he used to. A lot of the reason we broke up had to do with my excessive calling, my clingy tendencies and my arguing. After the first couple days of being upset and stuff I decided to call. We hung out and then after he looked at me in a certain loving way. I asked him why it seems that he has the same feelings for me. He said that he had feelings for me but they were not necessarily love. The week after that we started having sex (a lot). And then last week, he decided that it wasn't right to have sex with me since we were still broken up. So, I stopped talking to him and trying to see him. This past weekend he went on holiday to the lake with friends. When he came back and after a week of not hearing my voice, I asked him if he had noticed a change in me and if we could maybe start over in a new relationship. He told me he would "think about it."

How long should I wait for an answer? Should I just move on? Is there a way to ask for his answer? Basically.. What should I do???

nologo agony auntRead your story completely and got an opinion.

I understand that my opinion may contain bias.

Here is question: Do guys prefer birchy or clingy girlfriends?

Once you answer this question yourself you get an opinion too.

You wait for an answer as much time as you need, and you move on when YOU think the time is to move on. (Hope this helped)
