Last time I checked I was not allowed the vaccine because they only hand it out to virgins. But the law might be different in your country.

You HAVE to be seen by a doctor. Genital warts are caused by one of a group of viruses called the human papilloma viruses (HPV). Herpes is a separate and different set of viruses caused by Herpes simplex virus. VERY different and VERY important you distinguish between these.
HPV is a common infection and often goes away with no treatment. HPV may lurk with no symptoms or signs for years, the problem is that it can be transmitted to the cervix and lead to cervical cancer, or it may cause other types of canceer.
So no more messing around on the internet. GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR GYNECOLOGIST NOW. Yes, I am shouting at you. THIS post is an example of why we tell teens to wait for sex, because you are living in some fantasy land of "everything will be okay." It IS NOT okay, you may have HPV and you need to see a doctor, to be evaluated and I suggest you ask about the vaccine.

Go be smart about this, okay? Take care.

Another link, although I highly recommend you see your doctor instead of trusting all you find online.

Once you do get a breakout you will need to see your doctor to get the prescription for medicine. Do not self treat.

It can take years. Really. I had them once too and I had no idea where I got them from, because it had been ages ago since the time I could have been exposed. For me it took minimum a year. I could have been exposed earlier. I had absolutely no warts for the time in between infection and to seeing the warts. There are no signs.
The good thing is that they are harmless, they can be treated, and once they are gone they don't come back.
Genital warts are not the same as herpes. They belong to the same family of viruses I believe, the same as cancer in the uterus. But, they are not the same virus. Having genital warts does not mean you have herpes. Herpes can not be treated and is something that you will always have. Genital warts don't come back once they are treated.
Go see your doctor and ask him/her these questions. That is what I did, and it gave me a lot more answers than any internet webpage. Plus on the internet they only showed the most horrible pictures of how genital warts CAN look when they go untreated! Which is NOT how they will appear. They appear one at a time and gradually build up. But once you have the breakout you treat it. If you have gone for over a year after the breakout without any more warts, my doctor said you will not get them back.
But talk to your doctor about this. There are many rumours online and fear of STI's often blow things out of proportion. So talk to your doctor.

They can show up within a few days, or it can take years. Herpes hides itself, and factors such as stress and diet can have an effect. Those who have less stress and eat healthily often have a far smaller reaction to herpes. So stay healthy, make sure you deal with stress and you should be okay. I found this site for you.

It seems to have a lot of information on it and relates to the USA as well.
