I've read in most places it's 99% effective. So if you use a condom you're gonna be well protected. Don't use 2 though cos friction could "burn" it away and leave a gaping hole in it.

im pretty sure its within the 97.5% effective range. Dont quote me either. But it does help against STDs and AIDS/HIV. So its not 100% effective

If used properly it is like 98% I think. But don't quote me on that. It also stops STIs and AIDs! That is if it is taken properly and as advised by your doctor. If it isn't it becomes inactive.
