reader, anonymous, writes (13 April 2008): i wouldnt, you have to remember why you fell out and whether or not you would be happy with this guy again! you probably wont want to listen to this because i know what you are going through and i would just want to hear what i want to hear!! but you need to think with your head and not your heart especially if he has a gf it seems to me that he has moved on and maybe you shouldnt see him for a while then you can move on. what i would do is tell him why you cant see him tell him that way then you are telling him and yet giving him the chance to ask you to stay if ther is a chance!
for example:
you: i just think we shouldnt see each other for a while
him: why?
you: im not over you, i think i still love you and need time to get over you properly so we can be proper friends
him: (either say) ok i understand just let me kno (or he feels the same) dont go i feel the same i still love you
it will save your pride i just wish my ex would still want to be my friend but i think he is too busy tryin to get over me by sleepin with any lass who comes along and same with me being with alot of lads just to get over him when we know that we still love each other - just think how lucky u r x

If you are still in love with him then you are not GOOD FRIENDS,you are in love with him as you stated!!You need to come clean and tell him how you feel,if he doesnt feel the same it is doomed anyway,because you arent actually his friend if you are in love with him and you are only setting yourself up for heartache.
