How does one make a long distance relationship in the least bit successful? or even slightly functional? The reason i ask is that i'm in one...and to be honest i kind of want to rip his head off with my bare teeth.

TasteofIndia agony auntHAHA, okay you sound like you're in a rough situation over there. Thank the Lord he lives long distance or he'd be running around headless and you would have blood on your teeth! Okay, enough with the jokes...

LDR's are so freakin' hard. It's a lot easier if you have access to visit each other and you have similar mindsets - neither of you need to have a significant other around to feel happy. You need to really make the effort to keep things romantic (i.e. writing each other letters through the mail, being creative about expressing your love and keeping things spicy).

It's totally cool if you're just not into long distance relationships, and lets face it - if you want to rip his head off, you may just not be into the LDR thing. Maybe take a break from him and find someone a little more local or accessible!

Good luck!
