I feel comfortable with the idea of having sex with my boyfriend now but I get really embarrassed talking about it with him. Does that mean I'm not ready, coz I do really want to, i just struggle to talk to him about it and I cant explain to him that i want to.

First of all, it would be best to give yourself to someone worthy of you. No regrets.
But before that, know safe sex. Know about pregnancy.
My advise - there should be no other reason for a beautiful first time except LOVE.
