Don't scare her. Act casual. As she's just a acquaintance just make general conversations eg how are you?. Share common interests then eventually ask for a e-mail/number but only when you know her more. :)

 smile.then Strike up a conversation with her. I would be sneaky and ask her a question. eg what year is she in? (i know you know this but dont let her know that) and go from there. Hope this helps!
