Hiya everybody!

My boyfriend and I both struggle with our weight and have insecurities about it. I think he's drop-dead gorgeous, but whenever I say so he thinks I'm kidding or mocking him. Any way to get him to believe me?

(were both working on our weights, it's not like we need gym memberships, hahaha. Were both serious athletes in high school.)

Thank you!

Ya, he won't even recognize that I even do have a weight issue, which is sweet of him. He always tells me how much he wants to lose weight and I'm supportive on that. However, were losing weight in different ways. My sport requires 3 hours of extreme physical exertion a day, while his is more time, but far less exertion. He seeks other methods of weight loss, while I can pretty much lose weight whatever I eat now, unless I decide to eat the ENTIRE cow, hahaha!

So, ya, my beautiful bf doesn't like the way he looks, which saddens me, because if THAT isn't good looking how could I EVER be?

Thanks!

Im not totally sure i understand the question but i think if i were you i would offer to go to a work out class or something together. Talk about your insecurities to him and maybe he will open up as well. If he still thinks you are good looking even though you may be overweight then explain to him that if he feels that way about you then why cant you feel the same about him, weight issues or not???
