We can only see each other one week every month so most of the time we have to we communicate via Whatsapp. He rented an apartment here and he is asking me to stay in his apartment. My question is - generally brit men doesnt talk much about their feelings? When he is abroad i can't feel much from his text. Like he will text good morning good night. Asking me about my plans for the day. Then that's it. We don't get to talk much or share stuff. He told me a few times that he likes me but im still in doubt because he doesn't really talk much. Either Brits doesnt express much or he is just not so into me. I'm confused but i don't know how to initiate such conversation to clear things up with him - i don't want to stress him up. What should i do?

Hey anon, Sorry to hear that you're struggling with long distance especially when your interactions are limited to text. There's not a lot of emotions that can be read through pixels. Blame the technological age leading into a false sense of security. Sadly nothing can really replace good ol' fashioned human interaction. Rather than blame the Brit/Yank differences in expression, it could be possible that you guys need to find a way to communicate that fulfills your needs. Rather than texting back and forth you could try voice messaging through whatsapp; that is a little more personable. You could also make a point to skype/facetime (if you're iphone/ipad inclined) so you can see each other and feel more in tune with each others feelings. If that fails and you still get a a feeling of distance from him then it might be time to consider that you're not as compatible as you were hoping.

You should not define him by where he is from, all men are different. If he is showing no emotion then maybe he is just not that in to you. It could also be that you both hardly know each other yet so you should take things slowly and get to know each other. I would not advice staying in his apartment as it sounds like he may want you as a hook up while he needs to stay there. Take things slow.

Are you sure you're 26-29 years old? Because honestly you sound 16. What is this deal about "Brit guys" that you keep talking about? What makes you think that British guys are any different from regular guys? A man is a man is a man...whether in Britain or Noway or Russia or Venezuela! British guys are no different from anyone else.
Now that that's sorted out, you met this guy on Tinder, you've barely met in real time, you don't know him from Adam and you're contemplating living with him? Either you're incredibly naive or a troll...and I'm not sure which is worse!

We're not super overt about our feelings publicly, but we do let our dates/partners know they're wanted. If you're feeling like a second thought, it's probably that he just likes a girl in every port. You should pass on this guy.

You can't generalize about any nationality, my dear! Every man is his own man. He may have a wife somewhere for all you know, and he's offering to make you a kept woman?
If he's too cold and distant, why bother? You have a choice to keep walking. You don't have to take him up on his offer, and you certainly can't ask him to give-up his job; because you want more of his time.
My advice is to find someone you can spend more time with, and capable of sharing his feelings with you.
