How do I stop from being so obvious when I am checking out girls?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *racytrigs writes:

Hello, I am 17 and I'm gay. :)

I love everything about girls. Their body, the way they move and laugh and smile. Literally everything. And that's..... becoming a slight problem to me.

The problem is: I don't know why but sometimes, I find myself excessively checking out the girl that I'm into, be it a stranger or friend. For example, a very hot girl could walk into the train and I can't help but stare at her boobs and arse. Sometimes, I feel like a boy pumped with testosterones and raging with hormones.. I just cannot help myself, you know? I just want to look! I'd tell myself when I leave the house not to check out girls too obviously but I always forget. Once, it even got me into trouble. I checked out this girl that I was into and unfortunately, she misinterpreted it and thought I was being a bitch. And she actually came up to confront me. Yeah, needless to say, all the infatuation I had for her disappeared after that day.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this is a very common thing amongst lesbians..? I mean, am I the only girl who can't help checking out other girls obviously? Or are there other lesbians like me? And what can I do to stop myself from checking them out? Because it really can get embarrassing. A month ago, my female English teacher saw me check out my hot classmate's butt (a girl) and I guess I must have been a little too obvious about it because after that incident, my teacher is very very VERY awkward around me.. And now I have to put up with the awkwardness for the rest of the year. :/

So tell me what you think! I don't think this is a serious problem. I just think it's kinda worrying. Thanks in advance! :)

la petite belle agony aunthmm, that's tough i think... well I am straight and I find it offensive when guys are checking me out (specially at the gym!). I am trying to put myself in your shoes.... if I we re to want to check out guys without being too obvious i would probably just do a quick glance... I don't know that I am helping you much.... sorry I tried... :/

Mickkiee agony auntQuestion... are you defo a lesbian ... its just often we fantacise about the same sex and wonder what they would be like sexually as women are more glamorous than men. I know what you mean though sometimes you may see someone who looks stunning or really slim and look them up and down (p.s im not a lesbian) however when you look its nterpretated that your being a bitch and dirty looking them. To be honest with you i think you need to just tell yourslef its ok to experiment and even if you do look at girls and they confront you just say i couldnt help but notice your wearing and then make up some brand and if they say no then just be all like oh silly me. To be honest you could imagnie every girl as someone your not allowed to fancy like an old woman or someone you dslike but its probably a silly idea. I know what you mean though women are so much sexier than men becuase we have boobs and other things but sometimes you cnat help look and think :O flip .. they look hot. Hope this helps :)
