A female United States, anonymous writes:

me and this guy have been talking on and off for like two years I never continued talking to him because when we first met I guess he just wanted to get me in bed because he was always talking about coming over my house or his house but never let's go out and get to know each other. I guess he found out that I am not that type of person who just sleeps around.

I just saw him the other day and we exchange numbers again and he was telling me he wanted to take things slow this time. How do I make sure we move in the right direction because I really like this guy I dont want him to think of me as someone who could be a one night stand please help!

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (16 January 2010):

You have to make sure you both meet up outside your homes and talk together. You need to really listen to him and get to know him, and you need to make sure he gets to know you too. The last thing you want is to be used, as you say. And the only way to do that is to make sure you are both getting to know each other.
